With SmartFill, you fill a Danish trolley with plants from one grower in the Avaxa Plants webshop. You order per layer and see during ordering how much space is still available. Is the trolley completely full? Then you receive 3% discount on all order lines from that grower.

This way, you can take your range and the available space on the trolley into account when putting together your order.

What is SmartFill?

SmartFill is an ordering feature that helps you put together full Danish trolleys. A Danish trolley, also known as a CC trolley, is used to transport plants on multiple layers. How many plants fit on a trolley depends, among other things, on the height of the plants and the space they take up.

With SmartFill, you do not have to work out yourself which products fit together on a trolley. The webshop shows how many layers are already filled and which plants from the same grower still fit in your order. This way, you keep track of the trolley's fill while you shop.

The principle is simple: a full trolley makes better use of the available transport space. We pass that benefit on to you with 3% discount.

How does SmartFill work?

1. Choose plants from one grower

You start by selecting plants from one grower. Within SmartFill, a trolley is filled with the range of that same grower. The fill is therefore tracked per grower.

First choose the products you need for your garden centre, shop or project. From that selection, you can then add to the trolley.

2. Add plants per layer

At Avaxa Plants you order per layer or per full Danish trolley. With SmartFill, you can combine different plants from one grower on a trolley.

While adding items, the webshop shows how many layers still fit on the trolley. You also see which plants from the same grower are suitable to fill the remaining space. This way, you can search specifically for an addition to your order.

3. Fill the trolley and receive 3% discount

As soon as the trolley is completely full, you receive 3% discount on all order lines from the grower concerned.

In your shopping basket too, you can see per grower how full the trolley is and how many layers can still be added. This allows you to check where space is still available before you complete your order.

Combining different plants on one trolley

A full trolley does not have to consist of one product. With SmartFill, you put together your own combination from one grower's range, as long as the plants fit on the trolley together.

For a garden centre, this could mean, for example, combining several products for a seasonal display. As a professional buyer, you can select different plants and work towards a full trolley at the same time.

Which combinations are possible depends on the current range and the available space. SmartFill shows which plants still fit while you order.

What does SmartFill mean for your purchasing?

SmartFill makes the fill of your trolley visible at the moment you put together your range. You therefore do not have to wait until after selecting all products to see whether any space is left.

Have you already filled part of a trolley with a grower? Then you can immediately assess whether an additional layer fits your purchasing needs. Think of an extra product for a display or an addition to a product group you already intended to order.

Your own choice of range remains the starting point. When topping up, look at the products and quantities that match your expected sales or planned use. The benefit of a full trolley is mainly interesting when the addition also makes commercial sense.
